Hunan Tengchi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd is located in the Berlin Industrial Park, Yongxing County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, which is known as "China's Silver Capital", the lead smelting factory covers an area of more than 600,000 square meters, with a total fixed asset investment of more than 500 million U.S. dollars.

Technology advantages

As one of the typical lead recycling plant designed by RE TECH with its patented sustainable comprehensive recovery turnkey solution ,the project process adopts the world-leading "triplex oxygen-enriched side-blown smelting" process for self-heating melting, to achieve multi-metal rare metal enrichment and harmless disposal of slag, and to realize the efficient recycling of waste heat.The rare and precious system adopts "electrolytic refining-oxygen pressure leaching-extraction and purification" and other advanced processes to recover lead, zinc, tin, antimony, bismuth, gold, silver, indium, germanium, rhenium, selenium, tellurium, platinum and other valuable elements and their compounds, while arsenic recovery to the product arsenic, solving the arsenic problem, to achieve full resource utilization of solid waste, to avoid the secondary transfer of hazardous wastes; Flue gas using acid production + ionic liquid desulphurization process to achieve the full resourceization of sulfur; Deep treatment of process wastewater, recycling and reuse, realizing zero discharge of process wastewater.

Plant Capacity

Hunan Tengchi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd

The construction of the lead system, antimony system, bismuth system, rare metal system, arsenic system, waste heat utilization, acid production and other utilities, life support and other facilities of the first phase of the project was completed and started in December 2022, the plant now has an annual process capacity of 250,000 tons, with an annual production capacity of 110,000 tons of lead-zinc-copper products, nearly 10,000 tons of rare metals and other by-products.

The second phase of the project mainly builds a lithium resource recovery system and a copper, cobalt, nickel and platinum group metal recovery system, and is expected to achieve an annual output of 62,000 tons of lithium carbonate, nickel sulfate, cobalt sulfate new energy materials, 41,000 tons of copper, zinc and tin products, as well as other by-products, after the commissioning of the project.

The third phase of the project is mainly to build PACK dismantling and gradient utilization workshop, single battery charged dismantling workshop, ternary and lithium cobalt oxide black powder wet recycling workshop and other auxiliary facilities, is expected to put into production to achieve an annual output of 100,000 tons of lithium carbonate, nickel sulfate, cobalt sulfate new energy materials and other by-products.
